I started Bungu Select from my home in Auckland to share the quiet quality of Japanese stationery with customers across New Zealand.

Having grown up in Japan, these tools have always been part of my daily life — simple, reliable, and thoughtfully made.

After moving to New Zealand in 2007 and working in global trade, I wanted to bring these everyday essentials into life here.
